lll (Freedom, Love, Hope)

In the midst of a desperate domestic atmosphere which seems to have caused people to be hopeless under the governmental rule led by Prayuth Chan-ocha, the movement of the civil society has given us a glimpse of hope amid the unclear future. Being impressed by this movement, I would like to create something which can be the symbol of hope that can be placed in one’s house. The result is a sculpture which 3 objects are placed inside. Each object represents different notions: the feather represents freedom, the rose represents love, and the candle represents hope. This sculpture is designed in the way that these objects are placed it vertically, demonstrating the symbol ‘III’ or the three-finger salute, which is the symbol of demonstration.
