Every Vessel Holds a Story of Human Civilization,

What will the civilization of the future look like?

The Creator and the Creation

As the future grows more extreme—environmentally, politically, economically, and technologically—so do human desires. Creations arise to fulfill these growing needs, to complete what feels missing. They act like mirrors, reflecting our longings. In this way, the creator and the creation reflect each other.

Humans and Vessels

I’m fascinated by vessels as fundamental tools that have been with humanity across all civilizations and continue to exist today. Beyond their practical function, vessels possess symbolic potential, appearing in myths and legends such as Pandora’s Box or the Holy Grail. They serve as containers of endless possibilities, acting as mirrors that reflect human desires—the longing to fulfill what is missing.

Vessels of Tomorrow

Additionally, I’ve written six short stories, each corresponding to a vessel, forming an essential part of the narrative.

Fiction becomes a tool to imagine, to connect.
Through storytelling, I invite viewers to see the future not as something far away, but as a world full of people, objects, and meaning. A world that could one day belong to our children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren.

Interactive Exchange

After experiencing all six pieces, visitors are invited to reflect and share their own stories—their desires and the vessels that might carry them. These shared writings will be gathered into a new, collective fiction after the exhibition ends.

Collective Fiction

The future is fiction. The past is fiction. And the present is a story we tell ourselves.

I believe that we will move toward what we can imagine.
This project is an invitation to imagine together, through the vessel, a timeless companion of humanity—what we want to hold and protect for the future.
